Quotes (Neil Gaiman)

“I think that  pretty much every form of fiction (I’d include fantasy, obviously)…can be a safe place you go, like going on holiday, and it can be somewhere that, while you’ve escaped, actually teaches you things you need to know when you go back, that gives you knowledge and armour and tools to change the bad place you were in.”

–Neil Gaiman

Book Country’s Genre Map

Book Country created a fantastic Genre Map, with categories from thrillers to women’s fiction to young adult steampunk.  If you click around on the map, you’ll find genres and subgenres complete with descriptions, sample titles, and bestselling authors in that genre.  And of course, my favorite genre would have to be Middle Grade 🙂
